Financial terms of the transaction, which included the sale of 13 real estate offices located throughout Northern California, were not disclosed.
Most of the approximately 400 employees of Grubb & Ellis’ northwest region residential brokerage will continue to be employed by Fox & Carskadon.
The acquisition brings to 35 the number of residential brokerage offices owned by Fox & Carskadon, and the number of real estate agents to 1,400.
As part of the deal, Grubb & Ellis Mortgage Services will have the exclusive right to provide mortgage brokerage to Fox & Carskadon offices, including those just acquired from Grubb & Ellis.
