White House Starts Losing Its ZIP
Less than a month after his whirlwind tour of the Silicon Valley, President Clinton and his White House staff have hooked up their own electronic mailbox.
Subscribers to MCI Mail can contact the President--or, at least, his staff--via computer simply by addressing E-mail messages to “White House.”
Users of other electronic mail services needn’t feel left out; most of the big services will let you send to the White House’s MCI address at 589-5485.
The E-mail will be collected on computer disks and read by presidential minions. Correspondence from the White House will continue to use the good ol’ U.S. Postal Service.
