The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between March 1 and 7:
Glendale
Dunsmore Avenue, 4800 block--Thieves forced open the rear door of a house and stole jewelry of unknown value between 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. March 1.
Vassar Avenue, 1900 block--Burglars removed the screen of an apartment and stole a VCR between 7 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. March 3.
Lexington Drive and Maryland Avenue--A female jogger was grabbed and fondled by a man at 5:47 a.m. March 3, and a suspect was arrested a short time later.
San Fernando Road, 4500 block--Three men and two male juveniles were arrested at 1 a.m. March 5 and charged with receiving stolen property, after police found burglary tools and stereo equipment in their vehicle.
South Chevy Chase Drive--Burglars stole a VCR and a drill, valued at $451, from a business on March 5 or 6.
Stocker and Louise streets--Two men were arrested on suspicion of auto burglary at 3:25 a.m. March 6, after police found them in a residential area with burglary tools in their vehicle.
North Glendale Avenue, 100 block--A woman was arrested for child neglect at 12:30 a.m. March 7 after a neighbor reported seeing her 2-year-old girl wandering outside without a guardian. The child was taken into protective custody.
Justin Avenue, 1100 block--A woman entering her car in an underground parking lot at 7:45 a.m. March 7 was tied up with twine and robbed at gunpoint of her vehicle by a man. The vehicle was recovered at 11 a.m. on Sonora Avenue.
San Fernando Road, 6300 block--Thieves threw a rock through the window of a toy store and stole seven bicycles, valued at $420, and damaged some glass figurines of unknown value between 7 and 8:40 a.m. March 7.
Oak Grove Court, 3900 block--A woman reported that her sliding glass door was broken by a burglar, who was scared off when she came down to investigate at 10:30 a.m. March 7.
La Canada Flintridge
Foothill Boulevard, 400 block--On March 2, a man reported that sometime since November, a toolbox and tools, valued at $3,200, were stolen from a storage box in a car dealer’s lot.
Oak Grove Drive, 4400 block--A video camera valued at $1,500 was stolen from a teacher’s car at La Canada High School between 7:30 a.m. and noon March 4.
Escalante Drive, 5200 block--A burglar entered a house through an open window and stole a clock, valued at $350, and wine, valued at $200, between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 5.
Montrose
Montrose Avenue, 2400 block--Thieves broke into an apartment March 3 or 4 and stole $50 cash.
Atwater Village
Garden Avenue, 4100 block--Burglars stole cameras and video equipment, valued at $1,100, from a house and then showered there between 5:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. March 4.
Garden Avenue, 4100 block--A rifle and cash, valued at $10,470, were stolen from a house between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. March 4.
Cypress Park
Fernleaf Street, 2400 block--A house safe and money valued at $27,195 were stolen from a man at 11:30 a.m. March 3, by a man who said that he was checking the house’s water system.
Figueroa Street, 2600 block--Burglars used a jack to remove the rear window bars of a club, where they stole tools and liquor, valued at $2,180, at 7:30 a.m. March 7.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard, 2700 block--A woman in a parking lot was robbed at gunpoint of money and cigarettes, valued at $13, at noon March 1.
Eagle Rock Boulevard and Langdale Avenue--A man snatched a woman’s purse at 5 p.m. March 5. The purse and contents were valued at $160.
Colorado Boulevard and Caspar Avenue--A woman was robbed of her vehicle at 1:15 a.m. March 6 by a man with a semiautomatic handgun.
Verdugo Road, 3500 block--Burglars entered a house through an unlocked window and stole money and a TV, valued at $1,030, between 10:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. March 6.
Yosemite Drive, 2200 block--A woman in a grocery store parking lot was pushed to the ground by a man and kicked and robbed of her purse and money, valued at $350, at 7:50 p.m. March 6.
Echo Park
Sunset Boulevard, 1400 block--Two men entered a factory, put a gun to the head of an employee and robbed him of his personal cash and jewelry, valued at $7,800, at 11 a.m. March 1.
Figueroa Terrace, 900 block--Thieves climbed to the second-floor balcony of an apartment, pried open the door, ransacked it and stole money and jewelry, valued at $10,050, between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. March 2.
Silverwood Terrace, 1800 block--Power tools valued at $1,115 were stolen from an unlocked storage shed between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. March 2.
Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard--Four men assaulted a man in a parking lot at 6:30 p.m. March 7 and robbed him of a wallet and money, valued at $2,010.
Glassell Park
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3800 block--Thieves climbed the fence of a public storage facility, cut the lock off one unit and stole sporting goods and other property, valued at $1,400, on March 2 or 3.
Highland Park
York Boulevard, 5600 block--A man with a gun entered an auto repair shop office at 4:45 p.m. March 1 and demanded keys to a vehicle, in which the robber fled.
Avenue 56 and York Boulevard--A man simulating possession of a gun snatched gold jewelry, valued at $300, from a woman’s neck at 9:05 a.m. March 2.
Avenue 54 and Marmion Way--A girl walking home from school was robbed of her jewelry, valued at $180, by two men at 2:10 p.m. March 2.
Figueroa Street, 5400 block--Two men with a sawed-off shotgun robbed two chain store clerks of $275 cash at 8:50 p.m. March 3.
Figueroa Street, 5800 block--A man simulating possession of a handgun entered a business at 9 p.m. March 4, threatened employees and robbed them of $100.
North Avenue 54, 800 block--A male juvenile robbed a woman on a high school campus at knifepoint of jewelry valued at $625 at 8:10 a.m. March 5.
North Avenue 54, 800 block--Two male juveniles robbed a man at a high school at knifepoint of money and jewelry, valued at $135, at 12:25 p.m. March 5.
Baltimore Street, 5500 block--Money and jewelry, valued at $7,415, were stolen from a house between 1 and 3:10 p.m. March 7, and the thieves fled in the victim’s car.
Los Feliz
North Berendo Street, 1200 block--Two men assaulted a man and a woman on the sidewalk and robbed them of money orders, valued at $975, at 7 p.m. March 1.
North New Hampshire Avenue, 1800 block--A key was possibly used in a residential burglary where jewelry and art objects, valued at $36,575, were stolen between noon and 11 p.m. March 2.
Kenmore Avenue, 1200 block--Burglars entered an apartment through an unlocked window and stole jewelry valued at $9,000 between 7 and 10 p.m. March 6.
Silver Lake
Blake Avenue, 1700 block--A TV and stereo valued at $4,000 were stolen from a business between Jan. 28 and March 2.
Micheltorena Street, 1700 block--Burglars smashed the window of an apartment, ransacked a bedroom and fled with video and camera equipment, valued at $1,200, between Feb. 28 and March 1.
Baxter Street, 2200 block--Thieves smashed the patio glass door of a house with a rock and stole jewelry and video equipment, valued at $6,350, between 9:45 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. March 2.
Revere Avenue, 3800 block--Jewelry valued at $3,800 was stolen from a house between 1 and 4:30 p.m. March 4.
Griffith Park Boulevard and Effie Street--Two men on a sidewalk were robbed of their wallets and money, valued at $55, at 7:50 p.m. March 5.
