L.A. City College Starts Pearson Book Fund

Los Angeles City College announced that it will accept donations to buy books in memory of radiologic technology professor Gertrude Pearson, who died in December.
The Gertrude Pearson Book Fund will buy books for the college’s radiologic technology library.
Pearson was instrumental in founding the department in the late 1950s, became the department chair in 1966 and retired in 1977.
