Top-ranked UCLA got by No. 2 USC, 5-4, after 5 hours 10 minutes of play at L.A. Tennis Center. The teams were tied, 3-3, after singles, but the Bruins won two of the doubles matches. UCLA, at 15-0, remains the only undefeated top-20 team. Its home dual-match win streak improved to 32, dating to April 5, 1991.
