Glover Takes Helm: Actor Danny Glover has been named chairman of the eighth annual Independent Spirit Awards to be held March 27 at Santa Monica beach. Presenters of the awards, recognizing independent American feature films, include Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington, Juliette Lewis and Jeff Bridges.
