Cal State Los Angeles and the Pasadena Unified School District have agreed to establish a partnership to enhance the educational experience of students at Marshall Fundamental School so that when they graduate they are prepared for admission to Cal State.
The agreement would establish Marshall as a college preparatory school and provide opportunities for Marshall students to take college courses while in high school and receive college credit for them.
There would be interaction with Cal State faculty and Marshall faculty and students. Marshall also would be established as a teacher training site for the Cal State School of Education, providing an opportunity for Marshall faculty to serve as master teachers.
