Canyon’s Fitzgibbons Resigns as Girls’ Coach

ANAHEIM — Canyon girls’ basketball Coach Bill Fitzgibbons, who guided the Comanches to four consecutive second-place finishes in the Century League, has resigned to spend more time with his family.

Canyon finished 14-9 this season, losing to Edison in the first round of the Southern Section Division II-AA playoffs.
