Man Shot to Death in Tujunga

A 29-year-old Los Angeles man was shot to death in Tujunga early Sunday, police said.
The victim, Raul Rojas, was pronounced dead about midnight in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 7300 block of Valmont Avenue, a coroner’s spokesman said.
Police officers were alerted to the crime after an ambulance was requested for the man, who was shot outside a party in the apartment complex, Sgt. Jay Bender of the Los Angeles Police Department said. He had suffered several bullet wounds to the upper body, police said.
No arrests were made, Bender said, and a motive for the shooting had not been determined. Police said they had no indications that the shooting was gang-related or that it was preceded by a fight. Detectives were interviewing people in the area to get more information, police said.
