O’Connor Edited: The “Saturday Night Live” show in which Sinead O’Connor ripped up a picture of the Pope will be repeated on NBC Saturday, with a rehearsal tape of O’Connor singing Bob Marley’s “War” substituted for the spontaneous ripping incident. An NBC spokeswoman said the switch will be made “because we found it so objectionable in the first place. It’s NBC policy that we will never repeat that specific performance again. . . . We have no problem with her other performances.”
