Billy Ray Cyrus, Julio Iglesias, Kenny Loggins and Dennis Miller are among the 44 attractions for the 1993 season of Universal Amphitheatre, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary.
The lineup includes the previously announced return of “Jesus Christ Superstar,” which was the initial attraction when the amphitheater opened in 1973. The opening week, May 25-30, is already sold out, but tickets for a second week, June 1-6, go on sale Sunday, along with tickets for the other announced concerts.
The lineup, announced Thursday, includes acts in virtually every pop style except rap. Larry Vallon, executive vice president of MCA Concerts, said rap acts will likely be added as the season progresses, along with other acts.
Cyrus, whose “Achy Breaky Heart” was one of country’s biggest singles, returns to Universal on Oct. 15. Iglesias is scheduled Nov. 24 and 26. Loggins is due Aug. 14-15, while Miller will be joined by Rita Rudner on July 23.

For one week beginning Sunday, subscriptions of at least eight acts may be ordered, by phone or mail.
