Esperanza 6, Century 0--Kristin Bradshaw pitched a one-hitter and recorded 10 strikeouts for Esperanza (4-4).
Capistrano Valley 10, Trabuco Hills 0--Daniela Hugelschofer pitched a two-hitter and Heather Still had three hits and three RBIs for Capistrano Valley (5-6).
El Dorado 4, Rowland Heights Rowland 1--Nikki Hart went three for four and Erin Brink was two for four with an RBI and a run scored for El Dorado. Heather Hamer (4-2) struck out six for the Golden Hawks (8-2).
Canyon 4, Katella 0--Jennifer Broughton was two for three and combined with Tracy Thomas on a one-hitter for Canyon (7-5).
In the Garden Grove League:
Pacifica 1, Kennedy 0 (9 innings)--Leslie Mascarenas scored the winning run on a ground ball by Christina Carlson in the bottom of the ninth for Pacifica (6-5, 2-1). Kennedy is 7-2 and 2-1.
Rancho Alamitos 3, Bolsa Grande 2--Destiny Mollison had 15 strikeouts for visiting Rancho Alamitos (5-5, 2-1). Marlo Gonzalez went two for three with two RBIs and Julie Littman had one RBI for the Vaqueros.
Garden Grove 5, La Quinta 0--Duffy White pitched her second no-hitter of the season for Garden Grove.
In Olympic League softball:
Calvary Chapel 9, Capistrano Valley Christian 4--Freshman pitcher Page Lubbock earned the victory in her first varsity game, pitching a two-hitter for visiting Calvary Chapel (2-9, 1-1).
Brethren Christian 13, Orange Lutheran 1 (5 innings, mercy rule)--Brooke Hofstetter pitched her second no-hitter of the season, striking out nine, for Brethren Christian (4-6, 1-1).
