Clinton’s Plan for Economic Renewal
We believe President Clinton’s plan for change is well thought out. It deals with the major problems in an intelligent and creative manner.
As senior citizens, we are more than willing to contribute to its success.
Those of us in our 70s long since have had our contributions to Social Security returned. We are now a load on the system and the next generation.
We hope the President’s changes can be implemented in a businesslike manner without political nit-picking and confusion created by special interests.
Let’s get going and dig ourselves out of the mess that “trickle-down” economics got us into. The redistribution of assets, income and perks into the hands of the very wealthy was appalling to watch as the national debt reached staggering proportions.
We must pay for this stupidity with sacrifice now.
