The 14th annual Michelob/Little Caesar’s Golden Eagle Golf tournament to benefit the Cal State Los Angeles Division of Intercollegiate Athletics Scholarship Fund will be May 17 at the Via Verde Country Club.
The event raised more than $25,000 last year.
Holiday Buick-Olds in Palmdale has also joined as a new sponsor and will be donating the tee prizes for this year’s tournament, including a 1993 Buick for a hole-in-one contest.
“I am very grateful to our sponsors,” said Carol Dunn, Cal State L.A. Director of Athletics. “Because of their great support and the great efforts of our golf committee, we have successfully raised the scholarship levels for our student-athletes.”
Ron Hobbs, Larry Davis, Ken Salais and Greg Davis teamed to win last year’s tournament. John and Sharon Erdhaus and Gisela and Phil Roemer combined to win the mixed division.
Via Verde Country Club is at 1400 Avenida Estrada in San Dimas. Check-in time is 10 a.m. Information: (213) 343-3080.
