NEW YORK — For swimmers tired of the sound of their own breathing, a Boulder, Colo., company has come up with a product that allows users to listen to personal stereos underwater.
Aqua Tunes from SportValise is a molded plastic pouch that holds most personal stereos and is attached to a soft nylon belt. The belt which sells for about $45, includes a patented earplug-style speaker system.
The company also makes a belt system that can be used by walkers, roller skaters, bicyclists and other outdoor sports enthusiasts.
