Possible GE, Boeing Aircraft Sale to Iran Reviewed

Washington — The White House said Friday it is reviewing a proposal by Boeing Co. and General Electric Co. to let them pursue a potential multimillion-dollar market in Iran for commerical aircraft and engines.
The Washington Post said Friday that Iran has expressed interest in buying as many as 20 Boeing 737-400 passenger jets and their General Electric engines, worth as much as $750 million.
