Car Alarms
At last someone has spoken out regarding those awful chirping car alarms (April 5). Anyone who considers this a petty issue hasn’t lain awake all night with one of these alarms chirping constantly from the driveway.
It’s like some horrible electronic bird that you know will never cease until the vehicle is moved, which most likely won’t be until morning. Or if you work at home, as in my case, an entire day’s concentration might be blown while one of these things beeps its high pitched sound from the street.
Imagine the gall of someone thinking that his need for vehicle security supersedes the peace of mind of everyone in earshot.
