STANTON : Suspect Sought in Couple’s Kidnaping

Authorities are looking for a man suspected of kidnaping and robbing a couple and then sexually assaulting the woman earlier this month.
The April 5 incident took place about 2 a.m. in the 7800 block of 1st Street in Stanton. A 34-year-old man from Garden Grove and a 30-year-old Stanton woman were reportedly kidnaped from their car at gunpoint, said Orange County Sheriff’s Lt. Dick Olson.
They were released about five hours later in Cypress.
The assailant, who is about 27 years old, 5-foot-8, 155 pounds and has a slight mustache, had a handgun and was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and blue tennis shoes at the time of the attack.
