Sharks Fire Kingston After 11-71-2 Season

The San Jose Sharks on Monday announced the firing of Coach George Kingston, who led the team to an 11-71-2 mark this season.
The Sharks’ 71 regular-season losses were the most in NHL history and their 24 points were the fewest ever by a second-year franchise.
Kingston, who had never been an NHL head coach before last season, was 28-129-7 over the past two seasons.
