ROUNDUP : San Pedro Volleyball Team Rolls to Win Over Carson

San Pedro High dominated play at the net Wednesday and defeated Carson in a Southern Pacific Conference boys’ volleyball match at San Pedro.
Pirate outside hitter Eric Ambler had 17 kills and setter Anthony Thompson had 22 assists in the 15-12, 15-9, 7-15, 15-12 victory.
San Pedro (11-4, 6-1 in conference) took advantage of several unforced errors and led the first game, 7-2, and the second game, 5-0, before Carson (7-11, 3-4) rallied to keep the scores close.
After winning the third game, Carson led, 12-10, in the fourth game, but San Pedro scored the last five points, two coming on Jason Lloyd’s kills.
