U.S. Intervention in Bosnia

In response to “Why the Slaughter Affects U.S. Interests,” editorial, April 28:
I believe The Times is right on target. After all, our military might and an attitude of trying to run the whole world should put us in good standing with all nations. After we finish in Yugoslavia, we can move into the Middle East. Clean up the mess between Israel and the Palestinians, Iraq and the Turks, then on to Africa to put down the warlords. Don’t forget South Africa--they desperately need help. Then on to Cambodia, ad infinitum.
After that is completed, perhaps we can return to all of the problems here at home, which apparently are not as important.
