Outdoor Safaris International and Easter Seals will conduct their annual Disabled Kids’ Fishing Derby on Friday at Santa Ana River Lakes.
About 450 children are expected for the event, in its 12th year, and officials are asking for volunteers to assist as they fish for trout, which will be stocked heavily before the derby.
Prospective volunteers can call Easter Seals at (714) 635-1836 or the lakes at (714) 632-7851 for details.
