Family Airlines Founder Being Investigated: California investigators are probing allegations that the founder of Family Airlines violated securities laws when he raised cash to start the carrier. The State Department of Corporations would not disclose what allegations had been made against former Los Angeles businessman Barry Michaels, who was ousted last week by investors as head of the Las Vegas-based airline. Michaels could not be reached for comment.
