A Santa Ana man was kidnaped, stabbed and dumped onto a Laguna Beach street in a dispute with roommates, police said Sunday.
The 22-year-old Santa Ana man told Laguna Beach police that three or four people he knew had forced him into a car in Santa Ana on Saturday night.
Officers found him about 6 a.m. Sunday, lying on the shoulder of El Toro Road near Laguna Canyon Road with several stab wounds to his shoulder and chest, said Sgt. Bob Rahaeuser.
Nearby, officers found a piece of cord that had been used to bind the victim’s hands. His assailants had taken his trousers.
The man was treated at Saddleback Memorial Medical Center, according to a hospital spokesperson. Officials declined to release his name.
Santa Ana police, who were investigating the alleged kidnaping, said it occurred during a “domestic dispute” with friends or relatives with whom the victim shared living quarters in Santa Ana.
