Cimco Plastics Company Reports Gain for ’93

Cimco Inc., the Costa Mesa plastic components and thermoplastic materials company, reported a 36% gain in earnings for its 1993 fiscal year, which ended April 30. Profit came to $1.5 million, or 50 cents a share, up from $1.1 million, or 37 cents a share, for the previous 12 months. Annual sales rose 10% to $76.9 million from $70.1 million. For its fourth quarter, the company posted a profit of $734,000, or 25 cents a share, up from earnings of $587,000, or 20 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Three-month sales were $21.7 million, up from $19.2 million. The latest quarter included a one-time pretax charge of $225,000 stemming from the settlement of a contract dispute.
