Hesse’s Goal Lifts Titans to Victory

FULLERTON — Ken Hesse scored off a free kick with about five minutes left to give Cal State Fullerton a 3-2 victory over North Carolina in the Chiquita Invitational men’s soccer tournament Monday at Cal State Fullerton.
The Titans (2-0) also got goals from Ricky Rodriguez and Tim Helmer.
Mike Ammann, Eddie Soto and Hesse also scored for Cal State Fullerton. UCLA beat Oregon State, 4-0, also on Monday.
