OUTLOOK
The Tigers, who usually run the option, tried a more pass-oriented offense last season. But after winning once in 10 games, Riverside is back to the option this season. Pearne returns at quarterback after throwing for a single-season school record 1,738 yards. Rockwood, 7 feet 1 and 315 pounds, is the largest community college player in the state. Cox was an all-state player for Porterville College last season but transferred after the college dropped football.
