Six people were wounded, at least two critically, in shootings near Washington Park in Pomona late Thursday night, Pomona police said.
“Some of the wounded were shot at an intersection near the park, and others were wounded outside a 7-Eleven market in the area,” police Sgt. Hank Vega said.
A Los Angeles County Fire Department helicopter flew at least one of the victims to County-USC Medical Center, and three others were taken by ambulances to Pomona Valley Community Hospital.
The victims were not immediately identified.
