Burlington Air Express Inc.: The Irvine subsidiary of Pittson Co. said its operating profit for the third quarter was $15.1 million, up from $5.9 million for the same period a year earlier. Revenue showed a 9% increase to $254.8 million from $234.3 million. Nine-month operating profit grew to $24.6 million from $7.6 million. Nine-month revenue rose 11% to $726 million from $654.6 million.
