BAD MOVIES WE LOVE by Edward Margulies and Stephen Rubello (Plume: $12; 330 pp., illustrated paperback original). In this collection of columns from Movieline, Edward Margulies and Stephen Rubello offer tongue-in-cheek praise for some of the most gloriously awful films to come out of Hollywood. The authors are careful to separate such obnoxious bombs as “Hudson Hawk” and “Howard the Duck” from “Can’t Stop the Music,” “Ash Wednesday” and “Xanadu”--movies so hilariously terrible they hold a perverse fascination. Margulies and Rubello zero in on a guilty pleasure of film fans everywhere.
