LA HABRA : Free Classes Offered on Health Problems

Friendly Hills Regional Medical Center is offering several support groups and classes free for people with health problems.
Those with Alzheimer’s disease and their care givers are being invited to join a support group, which meets on the second Wednesday of each month. The next meeting is Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
People with arthritis are invited to join a support group, which meets on the second Friday of each month. Its next meeting will be Nov. 12 from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
A class offering tips for “healthy heart” diets and how to cope with cardiac diseases will take place on four consecutive Mondays beginning Nov. 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. The class is designed for those who have had heart attacks.
Another class for senior citizens will take place Nov. 15. The class will focus on nutrition and will take place from 1 to 2 p.m.
