Would He Have to Do a Term Paper?

ONTARIO — Michael Milken turned the other cheek Friday.
The junk bond-king-turned-inmate-turned-UCLA corporate finance professor, lampooned for days in Garry Trudeau’s Doonesbury comic strip, invited Trudeau to attend one of his classes.
“We’d love to have him see firsthand,” said Milken, who is working in an inner-city after-school program as part of his court-mandated community service.
Trudeau, who could not be reached for comment, hasn’t been gentle. In one strip he has Milken’s class chanting: “Greed works! Crime pays! Everybody does it!”
Milken’s remarks came at a conference of educators, where he was given an award for educational excellence.
