Rep. Rostenkowski
Atty. Gen. Janet Reno’s Justice Department stated last year it would have the investigation of Rep. Dan Rostenkowski(D-Ill.) completed by July of this year relative to his connection with the House Post Office affair. Is it because Rostenkowski has been a pivotal player in President Clinton’s health-care reform, the deficit-reduction agenda and NAFTA that nothing has come of the investigation?
And the same applies to the investigation concerning Commerce Secretary Ron Brown, who has been alleged to have solicited money from Vietnamese business people.
Yet when Republican Ed Rollins makes remarks concerning the New Jersey governor’s election the Justice Department moved within days to conduct its investigation into the matter.
