Historic San Diego Hotel Sold: The 280-room U.S. Grant Hotel, a landmark in downtown San Diego, has been sold to an affiliate of Grand Heritage Hotel Co., an Annapolis, Md.-based company that operates 13 hotels nationwide. Financial terms were not disclosed. The hotel, built in 1910 and listed in the National Register of Historic Sites, was formerly owned by Sansei America. All commitments for bookings and events will remain unchanged under the new ownership.
