Monthly Trade Deficit Is Slashed: Hong Kong narrowed the deficit to $124.9 million in November from $189.8 million in November, 1992, according to provisional figures released by the government’s Census and Statistics Department. The trade gap this past November was equivalent to 1.1% of the value of China’s imports, much lower than the 1.7% recorded in November, 1992.
