School accountability report cards for all schools in the city are available to the community.
Mandated by state law, the annual reports are compiled by committees of teachers, administrators, parents, students and staff.
They assess and update school descriptions, academic performance, class size, teacher assignments, instruction, leadership, staff developments, curriculum improvements, teacher evaluations, funding, textbooks and other materials, substitute teachers, student services, attendance and dropout rates, school facilities, safety and salary information.
Copies of a school’s report are available at each school, the Seal Beach and Rossmoor public libraries and the school district office, 10293 Bloomfield St., Los Alamitos.
