Trabuco Hills’ Uhl Chooses Colorado State

MISSION VIEJO — Derrek Uhl of Trabuco Hillsmade an oral commitment to play football at Colorado State, his father, Bruce, said Friday.
Uhl, a 6-foot-5, 240-pound senior who played tight end and linebacker, visited Colorado State last weekend and chose the Rams over Oregon State and Fresno State. He will play tight end for Colorado State, his father said.
Trabuco Hills won the Southern Section Division VIII championship, defeating Costa Mesa, 44-6.
