* Doris Banchik has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of Abbey Healthcare Group Inc.’s Nursing Services division. She was previously a health care research analyst at the regional investment banking firm of L.H. Friend, Weinress & Frankson Inc. in Irvine. Banchik has also been assistant professor and chairman of the graduate program in psychiatric nursing at the Yale University School of Nursing and director of psychiatric nursing at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
