* Rebecca S. Barton has been appointed to the newly created position of executive vice president for BrooksAmerica Mortgage Corp. in Santa Ana. Before joining the company, Barton was vice president at Plaza Home Mortgage Bank. Her experience also includes the establishment of a centralized mortgage operations center for American Savings, long-range planning for the retail loan division of Shearson Lehman Hutton Mortgage, and management of branch office operations of Shawmut First Mortgage Corp.
