SEASON AT A GLANCE: Collins and his twin brother Jason have started their high school careers impressively, leading the Wolverines to a 16-1 record. Jarron is averaging 10.1 points and 7.9 rebounds.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Collins scored 18 points in a 63-58 victory Friday at Bishop Montgomery. Collins’ grandfather died Jan. 16 and the earthquake damaged his home in Granada Hills, causing the family to spend a night in a van. “It was hard,” Collins said. “I didn’t feel like playing a basketball game.”
