A two-hour panel discussion entitled “How to Avoid Being Ripped Off Following a Natural Disaster” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Venice Senior High School auditorium, 13000 Venice Blvd., Los Angeles.
Speaking will be representatives of the city attorney’s office, the county Department of Consumer Affairs and local contractors. Admission is free.
