LA HABRA — A 36-year-old transient was arrested on suspicion of robbing a restaurant of $460 Tuesday night, police said.
Brian Clark allegedly entered El Taco Sabroso Restaurant on West La Habra Boulevard just before 9 p.m., Sgt. Phil Stufflebean said.
Restaurant employees told officers Clark indicated that he had a handgun and demanded money from the cash register, police said. He then fled on foot.
Fifteen minutes later, patrolling officers arrested him three blocks away near El Dorado Avenue and El Rancho Drive. Clark had the $460 in cash on him, Stufflebean said.
He was held in the city jail Wednesday in lieu of $25,000 bail, police said.
