OXNARD : Man Arrested in Drug Raid at Motel

Oxnard police have arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of possessing tar heroin and cocaine during a raid on an Oxnard Boulevard motel.
Jose Galdamez of Oxnard was taken into custody about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when police served a search warrant at the E-Z Motel, 512 E. Date St.
He is being held without bail in County Jail on suspicion of possessing narcotics for sale and on a felony warrant from the San Jose area. Galdamez is scheduled to be arraigned today in Ventura County Municipal Court.
Inside Room 51 at the motel, officers confiscated 0.7 of a gram of heroin and 0.4 of a gram of cocaine. The bust occurred after a three-week investigation into drug activity at the motel.
