Occidental Announces Appointments: James B. Taylor, 55, will become executive vice president for international operations and John A. Carver, 62, executive vice president for worldwide exploration at Occidental Oil & Gas Corp., the company announced this week. The oil and natural gas exploration company is a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based Occidental Petroleum Corp.
