Celebrities Take Cues for Benefit Tourney

FULLERTON — Olympic skating stars, Rams football players and movie actors will challenge all comers to a pool tournament Monday night to raise money for St. Jude Medical Center.
The event is sponsored by the Siglos Club, a support group for the medical center, and will be held at the new National Sports Grill from 6 to 9 p.m. All proceeds will be used to renovate St. Jude’s intensive care and critical care units.
Celebrities include Costa Mesa Olympic figure skaters Todd Sand and Jenni Meno, who placed fifth in the recently concluded Winter Olympic Games in Lillehammer, Norway; Los Angeles Rams players Tim Lester and Troy Drayton; former Olympic gymnast Cathy Rigby, and child actor Christopher Castile of the movie “Beethoven II.”
The stars will play nine ball for $5 a game. Tickets to the event cost $25.
