A Different Moral Standard

Kevin Weston wants us to judge a group of individuals on a different moral standard because they are African Americans (“Kids Weren’t Laughing at Holocaust, Just Movie,” Feb. 28). This is an injustice to all Americans.
Their behavior was inappropriate and unkind. This was a group of teen-agers that behaved poorly.

When “Menace II Society” was released, did we hear of Latinos laughing because they weren’t visible on the screen? Did Asians and Native Americans laugh at other movies because of hardships they had to go through?
