LOS ALAMITOS : 13 Apply for Vacant School Trustee Post

Thirteen people have submitted applications for appointment to the vacant seat on the Los Alamitos Unified School District Board of Trustees, and several community organizations will have a public forum with the candidates Thursday at 7 p.m.
The public forum at McGaugh Elementary School is being organized by the Los Alamitos Education Assn., Chapter 324 of the California School Employees Assn. and the Los Alamitos Unified Parent Teacher Assn. Council. Representatives of those groups will question the candidates.
Those who have applied for the position are: Matt Duggan, Bob Eagel, Joan Einstein, Mary Hampton, Charlotte Jaeger-Hudson, Laura King, Terrence Leve, Steve Mullen, Kathi O’Brien, Bill Orton, Joseph Palmer, Gordon Trigg and George Wing.
