Five Composers Score

FULLERTON — Five composers from Orange County are among 18 selected from throughout the state for the first “Voces Novae” festival, to be held April 14 through 16 at Cal State Fullerton. The 18 were selected from a field of 43 by CSUF faculty members Lloyd Rodgers and Michael Bayer.
Prelude No. 4 by Tom Liddell of Placentia and “Pierre” by Olivia Herman of Irvine will be played April 14. Quartet in G by Charles Gran of Huntington Beach and String Quartet No. 2 by Randy McRill of Fullerton will be played April 15, and “Scardanelli Songs” by Paul Greenhaw of Fullerton will be played April 16.
Each concert will begin at 8 p.m. Tickets will cost $8 ($5 for Cal State Fullerton students). Information: (714) 773-3371.
