In the College of the Sequoias baseball tournament:
Saddleback 18, Gavilan 6--David Biddinger was four for five, including a home run, and drove in two runs for Saddleback (15-8). Ted Wilkes had a double, a home run and drove in five runs also for the Gauchos (15-8), who play in the championship game at 1:30 p.m. today.
In the Channel Coast tournament:
Rancho Santiago 12, Oxnard 5--Matt Kastelic and Joe Fraser each went four for four for Rancho Santiago (22-6), which has won three in a row. Kastelic also had four RBIs and scored four runs. Fraser scored three times. Rancho Santiago advanced to today’s final.
In the Hancock tournament:
Cypress 14, Canyons 8--Eric Stevens hit a three-run homer and Andy Gonzales hit a two-run homer for Cypress, which plays Cuesta in the consolation final today. David Trentine went two for three with four RBIs for the Chargers (21-7).
