Whoopi Remark Unfunny

Academy Awards emcee Whoopi Goldberg would like to see the emasculation of Sen. Bob Dole (R-Kan.).
Dole has already given his arm and almost his life for his country and the American people. What has Goldberg ever given anyone?

If the emcee had been a white male and had made an offensive remark about a black female, suggesting that she be sexually mutilated, I wonder what the reaction might have been.
Dole is a handicapped American war veteran who deserves far more respect than Goldberg gave him the night of the Academy Awards. She should be censured.
I am urging my friends to boycott her TV appearances and movies until she apologizes.

Whoever was responsible for hiring Whoopi Goldberg as emcee of the Oscar show should be banished from further involvement. She was smug, crude and deadly unfunny. Couldn’t Hollywood present itself to the world with a little more dignity than this?
